The race starts and ends at the beach outside the Georges River 16ft Sail Club, Peter Depena Reserve, Botany Bay
Sunday 7 May, 6:30am – 12:00am
The public is advised of the following impacts:
- Fishing from the shoreline, structures and water is likely to be disrupted by race activities
- The area in Peter Depena Reserve at the end of McMillan Ave, Sandringham will be used for parking, boat preparation and cleaning and race operations
- The public should take extra care in Peter Depena Reserve and on the paths around the GRSC
- Boat operators are reminded to observe the posted maximum speed restrictions, and minimize boat wash in accordance with Maritime Safety Act 1998, part 2, section 13 – Reckless, dangerous or negligent navigation and other acts
